Strong Girls Powerful Leaders (SGPL)
With increased sexism, racism and xenophobia, there has never been a greater time to empower young girls of color. The Strong Girls Powerful Leaders Program (SGPL) is a strategic component of EACS’ youth mentorship and empowerment programming. SGPL is structured within two, 12-month cohort, 10-25 participants per EACS location. SGPL is for East African girls by East African girls and adult women mentors. Each Cohort meet weekly with program mentors for discussion groups, one-on-one mentorship, and group learning.
