Young Men Lead (YML)

Young Men Lead (YML)

The Young Men Lead (YML) is a Mentorship and Empowerment Program designed for East African young men.

We tackle issues that are prevalent today like toxic masculinity, gender stereotypes, racism, expressing and suppressing emotions, and much more. YML is also space for culturally-rooted mentorship and empowerment. We engage annual field trips, family fun nights, game nights, rap/discussion groups – in addition to just enjoying the company of other East African mentors and young brothers.

We believe in learning by experience which is way we work diligently to connect our young men to mentors who are skilled positive male role models. At YML, we have created a space for young men to not only partake in thought provoking dialogue but in physical sports related activities as well.
